Theme: Mainstreaming energy efficiency in reducing business cost.

Objectives:

To discuss and sharing of ways on what large energy users can consider and implement to mitigate impacts from the uncertainties in the energy prices such electricity tariff rates through energy efficiency strategies and solutions which is now on the increasing trends with the recent announcement of the surcharge by the government under the ICPT mechanism.

To provide inputs and ideas to affected industrial and commercial energy users who are now in tremendous pressure to seek solutions to mitigate impacts from the increase of the business operational costs with the higher electricity tariff rates.

To share strategic and practical information and experiences that can lead towards more energy efficient operations in business operational activities which will cover the followings:

• • • Government related agencies to share on current energy efficiency related updates such as policies, regulatory, key initiatives, financing schemes and incentives.
    • Technical experts and solution providers to share the know-how and latest energy efficient technologies and solutions.
    • Energy management experts to share on approaches and best practices for sustainable energy management system practices based on international standards.
